Camps coming to an end.

Tennis this week, but we are pretty much done with camps for the summer. We have some rained out days from his last week of tennis to make up. Next week we are heading out to see Grandma and Grandpa.

Band camp this week

Graham is off to a band camp at Del Mar. Hopefully he will enjoy working on music all day long. I guess I'll get more information about where he was placed when he gets home.

Happy 4th

Graham is at SeaCamp this week. He always enjoys that. Not much else going on. No work today. We'll probably checkout the fireworks tonight. I want to try to get some pictures. We'll see if I can get the camera set up correctly.

Back home today

Graham returns from Dallas today. I hope that he has had a good time. It looked like he was enjoying himself in the pictures that have been posted.

Flying by himself

Graham is leaving this afternoon for camp in Dallas. He is flying there by himself. I am a little worried about that, but I think he will be OK. A tropical storm in the gulf isn't helping. Depending on where it hits we may have to go pick him up or see if we can change his flight to San Antonio and we can pick him up there. His flight goes through Houston, so we need the Texas coast storm free. It looks like the storm is shifting more towards Louisianna. We should have a better feel by Wednesday. Graham should have a great time in camp, though.

Soccer sorted out

Well it took a while for the league to decide what it is doing, but Graham is finally on a soccer team for the fall. He'll be playing on a U14 DII team. They had about half and half on the ages groups, so we ended up playing up, but I think it will be OK. They should have been able to put together just a U13 team, but because of the way things where handled after tryouts, I think they lost some of those kids. Graham had a spot on another team, but the league is across town so we hoped that the closer league would get things figured out and they did, finally. Graham is happy to have a team and looking forward to the season.

It figures

So we haven't had much rain lately. The last couple of days it has rained every morning. Good for the grass. Bad for tennis camp. It would figure that Graham would have tennis camp the one week it has rained. I expect we'll be able to make it up at some point.

We have moved.

We have moved to Bluehost. They provide some functionality that was missing at our old place. I am still getting things moved over. The gallery is practically empty. Links are broken everywhere. The postings from the old site are missing. I'll get it sorted out eventually. Maybe I'll actually start posting here more often too.
